Come on a Vision Trip

Vision trips are tailor-made events designed for your team to see NEU up close. Vision trips are often made up of 4-7 members of a church’s leadership team. Or this may be a scouting trip for those considering serving with us for a summer, for an internship, or for long-term ministry.

While we craft the trip around your interests, they are often three days long and include:

• Meeting our support staff in Providence
• Meeting a church planting team in their location
• Taking a driving tour of one or more neighborhoods
• Exploring potential new areas for church planting
• Eating, discussing, and praying together 
• Enjoying some of the sites New England has to offer

You have the option to fly in and out of Boston’s Logan Airport or Rhode Island’s TF Green Airport. The latter is closer and offers easier access, but occasionally the flights are limited or more expensive. Teams often house themselves in a local hotel or Airbnb. We can help you pick one that suits your needs.

Our desire is that you not just see what’s happening with church planting among the poor, but that your heart be drawn closer to the heart of Christ and his compassion for the harassed and helpless. God’s heart is decisively inclined toward the poor, and we are eager to invite you to experience church planting that emanates from the heart of God.
