Haynes School of Ministry Dedication Service

The Launch of the Haynes School of Ministry

Join NEU Church Planting on 9/19/2025 for the school's dedication service.

Join us on for a service of dedication as we launch the Haynes School of Ministry.

We hardly go a week without someone asking, “Where do your church planters come from? How do you find people? And how do you train your church planting team members?” There just isn’t a pipeline for this—yet. Haynes School of Ministry exists to provide training for inner city church planting teams. As we begin, we seek to dedicate ourselves to God's work.

The inaugural message by Dr. Doug Logan, Jr. titled “Leading, Living, and Looking for the Lord,” draws us to Hebrews 13:17, where God, in His grace, gives the church both a weighty responsibility and a glorious hope. The passage reminds us that pastoral ministry is never merely organizational—it is eternally consequential. Pastors are called to keep watch over souls, not as managers, but as men under divine accountability. Their calling is urgent, their role sacred, and their joy rooted in Christ, not circumstances.

As Lemuel Haynes himself preached, the work of a gospel minister is always lived in light of the coming judgment, where every word spoken, every soul watched, and every joy or grief carried in ministry will be measured by the One who sees all.

We believe God is raising up a new generation of pastors who will lead with grace-filled grit, shepherd with Christ-dependent love, and preach with cross-centered clarity. And so we rejoice—not in ourselves, but in the God who calls, equips, and sends.

We look forward to seeing God launch a new generation of church leaders with the fire, faith, and focus worthy of the calling.
